Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
The crops and the factory are located in the "Sitio San Luis" canton Las Lajas of the province of El Oro (Ecuador), in a remote rural area where few families live and currently the lack of sources of work is a social problem; Our company is the only one in the area that produces on a larger scale and supports the generation of employment, in addition to managing training on agricultural and production issues for the site, highlighting the importance of sustainable development in agriculture, contributing to the improvement of quality of community life.
ConnectAmericas is the largest business platform in Latin America and the Caribbean created in 2014 by the Inter-American Development Bank in collaboration with Google, Mastercard, Sealand, Meta and DHL.
Our objective is to help small and medium-sized companies (SMEs) do more and better business and investments in their countries and abroad. We provide free training for entrepreneurs, we support them in their internationalization process, we connect them with clients and suppliers abroad and we facilitate them with financing options for SMEs.
Likewise, supporting the IDB’s 2025 vision, ConnectAmericas generates activities focused on small and medium-sized companies, gender and diversity, climate change, sustainability and nearshoring.
ConnectAmericas is the first social network for businesses in the Americas, dedicated to promoting foreign trade and international investment. It seeks to help SMEs strengthen their businesses, by providing them access to communities of clients, suppliers and investors in the region and all over the world, segmented by industry. It also provides useful and simple information about procedures and regulations for international commerce, and about the financing opportunities available in IDB member countries.
